Much urban myth surrounds this strain. There are accounts that the CIA, FBI, and other government agencies gathered the best strains of marijuana from all over the world.  At a secret installation at the University of Mississippi in the late 1960’s, Dr Carlton Turner created super hybrids.  Allegedly, a single cutting of this plant was smuggled out by an unnamed technician, who gave it to Sandy Weinstein, who gave it to Neville Schoenmakers, who grew it commercially. The legend may not be true, however this stain is particularly potent. The original G13 allegedly had a THC content of 28%. There are no original G13 cuttings today, only hybrids. The buds are light green and very dense. The smoke is harsh and just a little fruity.
